so we have "Big Julia" and "the Mad Monk" - both derogatory terms others have been moderated for often.

Seems the Left are not capable of a decent debate about anything without resort to nasty sneering.

Yesterday, the mob burnt out flag in front of Parliament. Spat on it. Desecrated it - and therefore showed their entrenched hatred of us and our history and our memories - a flag our men and women, and some of theirs too, died fighting under.

So the Japanese wouldn't invade - as they were well positioned to do. Even had their invasion money printed - ready. Along came the Yanks - and together we fought them off. Or died together, trying. As I said elsewhere - could a small community of hunter gatherer nomads have resisted them? No - Australia would now be Japanese.

If not for the Poms - we'd now be French, dutch, Spanish, Portugese, Chinese, Indian, Indonesian - they were all hovering - must have known this huge chunk of land was here - and why they didn't beat us to it remains one of life's great mysteries!

And "our" medical and scientific advances alone keep people alive longer. Are we to give all this up and move out?
The fact is - over the millenia - and into infinity - no one "owns" anything!
The days of nomads were numbered well prior to 1788. Does anyone in their right mind think Australia would still be virgin territory, uncolonised, in 2012, had we not come along in OUR leaky boats, as Cook did when he first saw Terra Australis in 1768? It's absurd.

We were told only they (this raging indigenous mob) have "Sovereign Rights". (so we are sum?) And if we didn't like it, we could p off.
    Charming.

Andrew Bolt speaks the truth - well, he did - before the court systems whose Left Wing politically correct officials now protect some and allow others to be wrongfully pursued for things which should be regarded as freedom of speech -
so now Bolt's wings are clipped- and not only his! Peter Faris, QC, an outspoken right-wing commentator and highly regarded Barrister, now refuses to comment - as he says too dangerous. He should know. But this is pathetic! Is this a democracy? When people of this stature are too scared to speak out any more?

Yesterday, a Gillard staffer was sacked for telling this mob where Tony Abbott was. And what Abbott was supposed to have said. Words Abbott did not say - the meaning twisted and out of context. Now we must query why did a Labor staffer tell people which restaurant Abbott was at - and why did they deliberately lie about what he was supposed to have said? Was Abbott some sort of set-up target? And Gillard's jostling just unplanned collateral damage?

As I have said elsewhere, no MP does more in their private time than does Tony Abbott - who takes part of his vacations to go into their lands and help them, often physically, with buildings, etc.

As I have said once recently the ABC were crowing about Abbott having "gone missing". They conveniently forgot to tell us he was off helping the indigenous communities in his own time.

Thank God for Andrew Bolt and his ilk. For apart from this handful, we are faced with a battalion of Left-loving sycophants in a very very biased media. Many of whom are not too fussed about the accuracies of what they write about.

This discussion should be on the Politics forum IMO! These mobs are to my mind very politically motivated, perhaps infiltrated and wound up by persons unknown.

Perhaps if we're talking "invasion" we'd be better advised to look at the secret and insidiuous big buy-up of our agricultural and mining lands, and real estate, by wealthy Chinese interests and big companies.

Now that IS an invasion - a secret one - and it's happening now - right under our noses - whilst we all haggle about trivialities - it seems we ARE being silently and secretly taken over. AndAustralia will end up someone else's market garden - we'll have to buy our food back and import it in for ourselves! Madness reigns! The Government are hopeless - only caring for short term personal advantage and their own survival.

Formerly feeling sympathetic to the plights of Aborigines - after yesterday's disgusting, whinging whining disgraceful spectacle, I don't care any more. It put their cause back 50 years - and did them no credit whatsoever.
