Pathetic media beat up....go look at the video of the protest again...it was a pretty tame affair it you ask me....'oh no.... a girl was tapping the palms of her hands on the window ...shock'
Huge over reaction by police and by Julia Gillards handlers....the only violence I saw was by them......add to this some creative editing by the media to make it all seem dramatic ....and presto ....teacup tsunami
A half decent politician could have had a spokesman ask the protesters to agree to settle down and then she could have given a rousing off the cuff speech that inspired reconciliation and goodwill....what a great aussie day gesture that might have been...
Oh...thats right...pollies only do doorstops for the media don't they?....pity they are so spineless and timid that they can't summon the courage to face up to some disgruntled constituents and address thier concerns in person.....much more dignified to scurry away like a startled rabbit.
