    Here we go again.

Gillard charges Abbott with something he did not say.
    Here is what she said:

"For it to be insinuated that I played some role to detract attention from the Australians who had performed miracles during natural disasters makes me furious. It's absolutely typical of his negativity and tendency to go too far,” Ms Gillard said in a statement.

    Abbott said this:

Mr Abbott said Ms Gillard needed to face the cameras.

"What did he say precisely? To whom did he say it precisely? Why did he say it precisely? And what instructions was he under precisely?" Mr Abbott told Sky News today.

"I mean this is too important for the PM and her office to just spin it away.

"I'm sure there are decent people in the Prime Minister's office, but it looks like a pretty grubby business."
    -------

He nowhere insinuates that she played a role.

She obviously has learned nothing from the events of this week re: taking Abbott out of context. It's like a petalla reflex for her now.
