Cheers, kmac, that is good reading. I especially like 8. I wouldn't be stuck in GCN at 5.8 and MGK at 2.6 if I had followed that advice and sold as soon as it fell two ticks below my buying price. Actually two on GCN and one on MGK.
I also am embarrassed to say that there are times when I even hesitate on a loss of brokerage - need to dispense with that kind of thinking!! Though I do find Etrade kind of steep, $19.95 per transaction - a brokerage loss is $39.90. Yes it's sod all in the greater scheme of things but I'd be happier if it was down around $15 to $20 total. I am sure there are cheaper fees around than Etrade.....
