When looking for undervalued gold stocks it is best to compare market capital per production ounce (for producers) and/or market capital per resource ounce (for producers, developers and explorers).
Just google 'top australian gold producers' or 'top australian gold developers' and you will find plenty of information.
Australian gold producers are probably a safe place to start, developers the next best bet and then you could add an explorer or two to keep life interesting.
Note: Australian miners have very low sovereign and political risk but there are a few other countries worth looking at.
