A good solution is that Rudd could immediately be appointed as caretaker PM and a new election called as soon as possible, within the next few days or weeks...

Gillard clearly is unfit for the office of PM ...

She either knew nothing about what her close advisors and staff were up to in which case she is too incompetent to hold the position of PM (maybe still young and naive)

or Gillard was involved to some extent and did not extert the leadership to stop it, in which case she is unfit for the office of PM...

This labor/green/union boss government has once again lost its way, this time catastrophically despite the new Gillard leadership that was to repair the damage that Rudd did...

Clearly this government is incapable of governing and a fresh election must be called.
