Grahod, thanks for the convoluted answer about how you measure the value of your gold but you and I both know you use dollars.
What's wrong with retail? It's a simply example and one virtually all of the population can relate to. You seem to insinuate that some other market ( insto?, traders?) use something other than currency to complete transactions. What exactly are you talking about?
