Channel Ten news last night - the main headlines and the lead story - several minutes of it - were nothing more than a promo for their interview with that mercenary ingrate Douglas Wood, trying to prop up the ratings now that public opinion has shifted from being sympathetic to being critical of him.
He was more of an object of sympathy while in captivity, but once he was freed and opened his mouth, he has just dug himself into a hole of public resentment. I wonder if Channel Ten's interview actually rated enough to justify their $400,000?
