My wife has three friends who are accountants, and their husbands are accountants with fin institutions in sydney. Two have been made redundant in the last 2 weeks along with their sizable teams. The third has lost a team of 25 and may be retained. Another who's husband is in IT in fin sector lost his job yesterday. All have large mortgages.
