Yes, I am convinced that something like what you have spelled out will eventuate. BPT has opened the door to outsiders and I am sure that there are some drooling mouths out there and BG would be high on the list of "interested" parties.
But, that is my Billion $ question, who will it be and what gymnastics will take place, probably in the not too distant future?
As you rightly said, how quickly did BG get into 940? And 855 is apparently the jewel in the crown.

Although RJ is ridiculed for that 40%, being 40% of such a very large asset still gives him massive leverage and bargaining power to concoct a win/win/win (the last win is us) situation.
That GSA also cannot be under estimated when negotiations are taking place, as you rightly said, BG would be delighted to be able to throw that into the Gladstone works, will fit in very nicely.
Am happy to wait and see how this plays out, lots of gymnastics still left in this game.
