I am no expert on Thorium radioactive levels,but I always remember an American geologist on TV about 9 months ago saying that Rare earth metals are not that rare. You may well find sites that have a great quantity. The main problem you have is having a site that does not cost a fortune to seperate the thorium and the Uraniumm from the REE's. Evidently is can be expensive and not to mention the effects on the environment. If there is any experts on the costs involved with the seperation process, I want like to hear their opinion.
This was the main reason I keep clear of the Greenland (ggg) REE site.
