westcott, do you think Mr Hanlong's life would be worth living if his strategy was to help obtain permits and licences so that a non-Chinese entity could bid on SDL? How do you think the Chinese would look upon such actions from Mr Hanlong? Favourably? Mr Hanlong basically helping serve SDL up on a platter to a non-Chinese entity and thus helping continue to keep their country shut out of overseas IO production. Sorry, that doesn't make sense to me.
Do you think Hanlong and their associates currently on our register would sell to BHP for a higher bid? Do you think the Chinese would approve of such a transaction? Just how 'private' is Hanlong, really?
