Gawd, Moondoong being wrong about an unsubstantiated allegation against GetUp/the Greens/the ALP/climate science or whomever - who would have thought? At least you had the balls to admit it MD, I admire you for that. Maybe you've been reading too much Murdoch owned gutter press, or listening to too much shock-jockery, where they choose to distort the truth and can't get their facts straight?
By the way, the difference between GetUp and the government is that they are not a political party, they are not running for elections and they do not hold the strings to the public purse. They can accept donations from anyone. They are not even a tax deductible charity, because they are an advocacy group.
I also am member of GetUp. They do a great job of exposing hypocrisy. For example, Clive Palmer on Lateline the other night, saying how he also wants to buy into the media (me too Gina, me too!). Apparently he has oodles of cash available (he said so himself), so he can buy into the media and influence public opinion, against things like the mining tax, which he cannot afford, LMAO! Now that is hypocrisy.
