The problem Mr H is that there is no long term solution to nuclear waste disposal, even after all these years from the "manhattan"days.
Since some people promote the use of nuclear energy I am extremely interested to hear how the waste disposl side would be handled.
It is a large problem and a noticable increase in reactor numbers is inevitable.
I find it strange that people who are concerned with burning coal can condone the use of nuclear where the waste generated is going to be a problem for thousands of years.
Far as I know a lump of coal has never changed a genetic footprint but there are hundreds of examples where radiation has spawned hybrids.
