It's nothing unexpected, it's like trying to sell the house in the middle of a divorce case, either party can put a stop to it. It looks like both parties are not willing to budge and are pushing ahead with court action.
Reminds me of a bitter divorce case where both parties are wrong and ego's get in the way at all cost!
