I've got no truck with extremism, Elder; personally I reckon that the Islam practiced in the Mid-East hasn't progressed past the 16th century in its mindset.
I find it amusing that you would accuse me of siding with extremists, when the fundamentalism practised by various western 'intelligence' agencies has done a great deal of harm to the world. That includes funding the Taliban to the tune of $3 billion dollars US not too many years back. Ever wonder why Al Qaida was able to launch some of their terrorist attacks? They had the best training the money from the CIA could buy: most of the training straight from the CIA themselves.
