The savers and the many retired people with modest deposits, got what they deserve which is just as well because I have recently read on several occasions that Australians have now become savers rather then spenders.
I now almost believe that the RBA has seen the light and are now engineering a slow house price down trend (not a crash) for the over all long term benefit and competitiveness of the Australian economy.
