I think that Haw will not get 5 million from the SPP but if they get 3 to 4 million, that would more than likely be able to make LCY pay more if they want MT Bevan because with that kind of money that will keep Haw going for a few more years (without having to raise more) and i am sure that LCY do not want to wait that long..

NO matter what anyone says from both camps Haw and LCY have an equal say as to what goes on at Mt Bevan so if Haw does want to sit on their hands for a while, i think you will find they can do that.

So unless LCY comes in with Big $$$$ to take out Mt Bevan, Haw would be stupid to sell it for nothing..

(Just my opinion and i usually get that wrong)
