What do you feel is an acceptable bond amount to ask for? The agent didnt specify an actual amount, I was thinking $1000 (rent is $360pw) - The cost to get the floorboards sanded and stained, the timber back doors can always be sanded and or replaced,
Very good point though about tenants having the pets on the sly.
