Then why did the sp go down?
I see nothing but good news on NMR. So on your simplistic theory NMR should only go up in a sraight line. That in fact is a load of rubbish, if it were that easy we would be wealthy beyond our wildest dreams.
C&H formations, when confirmed, are a very strong signal of a significant rise in the SP pending. Often in advance of pending good news.
