Headbanger - I have a father with a PhD and have a firm understanding of what "research methodology" means. Sadly, I can't say the same for the climate change consensus macro climate modelling.
I don't see any "thesis" in my comment. Thesis is the synthesis of a thesis and anti-thesis to construct a new thesis. I see no attempt by myself to do that in my comment.
At this stage I hold a healthy skepticism - which in the past was considered to be appropriate. Otherwise, we'd still think the earth was flat. Sadly, skepticism is seen as defiance. I hope that changes again soon as well.
You can consider your dispassionate study as accurate - I consider it a study of many sponsored studies whose conclusions could lead to nothing bar agreement if they wish to continue in to be in the field of "climateology".
As a different example - are eggs bad for me or good for me? Depends on the era of the study.
