Telsor, I've never been involved in one of these 'quickie' CR. And they are quick I've heard. The "sophs" are given quite a while to think of the investment proposition....about 30 seconds sometimes.

I believe it's quick, doesn't need a prospectus and doesn't need to be underwritten (cheaper).

There is a minimum subscription which is generally quite hefty (say 50K) so there are fewer players. Ok so the sp falls after the ann as some of the new shares get turned over to recoup the cost of investing but as we know that hasn't been that lucrative for 'sophs' with CRC.

I also seem to remember the last public CR of crc in around April 2010 which ended in the underwriter having to take a load of shares what weren't taken up and the sp stayed flat for months as Hartleys off loaded them.

Maybe that soured it for management.
