Firstly, according to these gentlemen, there has been a 0.4 deg warming due to man's contribution via CO2 in 70 years. [coincidentally that is my age and the period I speak off when when I give my long term observations] The frog will die of old age long before it starts to feel the heat.

Germany is where the AGW story will unravel and I think the rest of the world will sit up and take notice when it does. World citizens probably place more importance on them than the US whose politics and fundamentalism is not trusted generally.
