Presumably the killing is by the angry old testament god. Strange way of "eradicating sin" when he (definitely was a he) extirminated hordes of innocent people and animals as well. As I asked on another thread if he were so angry with the human race, why did he not wipe them out with a plague (except for Noah and family). Then the rest of the innocent creatures on earth could have been safe from the flood.
As far as killing in the name of god/s by their human devotees, apparently this seems totally acceptable. Of course the believers are totally convinced that any other god/s are fake and their adherents are infidels and idiots so it's a sacred cause.
