pitboss's points - not all but some are quite relevant.

Don't miss the point - those factors set an environment that is absoutely perfect for making money.

That is exactly why case 1 that I mentioned worked so well.

A poor population is a dream to make a quid from.

Believe me when you have a society that isn't so go go - it is much easier to make a quid than when everyone is so competitive.

I had a dream gift here a few years back - a perfectly good house that was very very dirty - no one else could see through the dirt - everyone else said it was only good to bulldoze - and even if they looked they wouldn't have done anything about it anyway - no drive.

400% in 18 months said differently - plus gearing.

Again - an investment in Syd or Melb like that wouldn't have been so easily missed.

Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
