I have to agree with the sentiment already expressed in this thread. I firmly believe in the practice of options as a means of incentive and reward for key personnel. But I also believe the level of reward should reflect the achievements. Getting the SP back to 45c is hardly a challenge, it is almost a forgone conclusion. Remember that 44c was the price the last cap raising took place at, and many of us then thought it was too low.
Very please with managements approach and performance generally so far, I understand they are sore at recently having to sell off their 32c option to overseas investors, but all shareholders took at hit last year and are riding the wave of negative market sentiment.
I will have to vote against this resolution if it is not revised higher. Come on guys, lets make the incentive challenge a little more realistic!
