Exergen supplies the CHTD de-watering technology and the plant to make it work and MNM supplies its wholly owned brown coal 50/50.
To keep it simple imagine they were building a house not a new multi-billion dollar export industry. In the house case Mantle supplies the land and Exergen supplies the building materials and builds the structure ... again 50 / 50.
In this case Exergen also put Ian Kramer a senior ex- management employee of Exergen as Managing Director of Mantle just to make sure the land is utilised properly and the biggest most efficient house is built for the 50/50 partnership.
I suspect MNM holders will be building many new houses with their profits in the not too distant future.
I hope that makes sense but I do undertsand if I have only confused you further with my analogy. It is only 3pm here where I am and I guess most Aussie holders have gone to sleep by now so you may have to wait until the morning for a more sensible answer.
