re: no green bottles hanging on CSO1, your arguments almost sound plausible, but.......
The Cabots inventory oversupply is only a fraction of world annual supply, a very big fraction, that looks like two years of forecast production from GIP's operations!!!
Sources from Japan? Simce when are they significant in the tantalum market.
Consistently highlighting the performance of the Egyptian Stock Market is of exceptionally low relevence as to whether GIP gets project finance in the fullness of time. And that fullness has been very full!!!
Out of curiosity this morning, knocked up a list of companies going through project finance arguments at the moment-HER,Austindo,Alkane, JML, Exco, and a couple of others. If you plot their respective market caps, then look at project finance requirements less cash in the bank, you will start to get the picture as to whether GIP stands a chance of getting the money in any meaningful way-snowflakes.
Market cap $16m trying to borrow $105m, with less than 4!m in the bank, offering security over only half of the project, when there is clearly a current global oversupply of the commodity underpinning the project?
No blessed wonder the Loan Arranger has been wandering the deserts for the past eight months trying to rob banks!
And the only significant announcements this calendar year in reference to the share price are the deferral of lead financier arrangements twice formally and now up for a third time, and more particularly the substantial shareholder notice of one of the Loan Arranger's mates selling as best he could, and then the Loan Arranger himself dribbling a few out himself.
And posters still come up with daily events in Egypt, innuendo as to them knowing why it is taking so long-why not a straight interpretation from them?
Notice this stock does not trade?
Notice the MD does not promote?
Notice, no don't pay it any notice anymore. CSO1 and fellow travellers may be the remaing substantial shareholders trying to get out. Or worse still, directors of this directionless crud!!!
Who knows, and I don't care!!!
Cheers,TAS
