Lying by omission, conflation, spin, obscuration, avoiding the question etc is all part and parcel of the job description for a modern day politician.
The problem for our PM is that she is so excruciatingly bad at it. She insults our intelligence. She makes me want to put my boot through the TV. Its not a good look. Im trying to move forward.
Note to the PM's team of media advisors in charge of monitoring electronic on-line discussion forums (Australiana section):
Put someone - anyone (left / right / red / green / blue / black) in charge with half a brain who is actually believable.
