If you want leverage and own a property I believe you are beter off going down the line of credit as a deposit then margin loan path compared to cfd's.
Interest rates on LOC funds are about 7-7.5% and margin loan interest rates around 8%. If the value of the position/shareholding rises you are not charged interest on the increased value of the position (as I understand cmc does).
What interest rates are currently being charged on cmc cfd's?
