re: cmc makes a number of changes good & bad I'm on the point of cancelling my CMC account. When I started last November it went fine and the service was good. Lately though I have become dissillusioned with their service. Some points. You'll get stopped out even if the underlying exchange did not trade at your stop price. eg S&P500 trade bid: 1199.5 sell: 1200. You are short with stop at 1200. You're stopped out at 1200 even though the market traded at max of 1199.5. This has happened more than once and I'm fed up with it. Secondly I was stopped out of a BLT UK trade even though FTSE website showed the price was never ytraded. The dealer kept saying over and over "reuters showed the stop price was traded". Another whinge: price spikes up and down particulary in commodoties uncannily stop me out consistently. I've given up trading commodities. One more point I can get a spread on the S&P 500 1199.50/1199.75. elsewhere which beats CMC hands down.

Just my opinion. Don't make decisions on my amateur opinions.
