I don't know anything more than what is in the public domain. I base the idea that we're nowhere near the payzones because this is an exploration well in underexplored territory. Hence progress will be slow and we've no way of knowing whether they'll be pressure problems as we get closer to TD. The well was supposed to take 60 days drilling, with 30 days for evaluation. We're 30 days in currently, so it makes sense we're nowhere near TD yet (and remember, with Range, things are always late, never early).

However, I certainly do not believe that 'brakes' have ever been applied at all. I don't even see how it is possible to apply 'brakes' to a share price that is listed on a public exchange, where anyone can buy or sell shares as they please. The fact that I could buy plenty of shares tommorow if I wished shows any 'accumulation theory' is 100% rubbish, as if accumulation really was happening the shares would be hoovered up by outside parties (note: I don't believe the price would be 'held' even if a big institutional investor wanted to buy in- for the simple reason that it is, as far as I can see, impossible to 'hold' a price on a public listed security).

All subscribers of a 'holding' theory need to demonstrate how this is possible, and even if it is possible, they need to show evidence that it has happened here. They might claim it is 'obvious', but something is 'obvious' when all evidence points in that direction- not the other way around.

The Range share price is currently quite low because they have failed to deliver on their promises, and have had a disappointing first exploration well in Georgia. Nothing more and nothing less. Production has not been increased in Trinidad. The Texas wells have been very slow to drill. Georgia was a duster and Puntland is still unknown and high risk. Until some of these things change there will be no major share price increase IMO.

The 'brakes', if you insist upon using that term, are being applied by poor results and slow development, nothing else. I'm hopeful that this will change but going off the current track record of the BoD I can certainly understand why the market has concerns.
