sooryakumar, your worst case is always zero. Most on this thread would believe zero as an unlikely outcome, but ultimately it could happen.
In fact, if one was using decision trees and probability analysis, one of the branches would have to include a large probability of zero to reach the current share price. This is why GNM is such an interesting opportunity. The liquidation value of the company is at least 5x greater than the current share price. If there was greater liquidity, larger funds would have stepped in by now to take advantage of the mispricing. More nimble investors are uniquely positioned to play this out.
I would not dismiss the idea that one or more of the institutional holders is intentionally forcing the price down to goad mgmt into action. The cost of doing so would be insignificant to them.
