Fallguy, You posted Aborigines, American Indians, Incas, Palestinians and the rest of the conquered and dispossessed are not going to get sovereignty over their ancestral lands back, but they deserve justice and they are entitled to continue to love their spiritual home. We happen to be the conquerors, but who knows what the future holds.
I agree with everything you said, with one exception. All of the nations you mentioned can show that they were once here.
The Palestinians cannot.
Having said that I believe that as human beings they are entitled to a "justice".
Just like charity begins at home, so does justice.
They, or for want of a better word, their leadership does them an inustice. They give them false hopes when they know they cannot deliver. And the really stupid part is that the Palestinians reputabley were the most highly educated of the Arabs, yet they have not been able to work out that they have been and are "dudded by their leaders, they have been and are dudded by their fellow Arabs, they have been and are duded by their fellow Muslims.
How can a so called intelligent race (I refuse to call them nation) be dudded time and time and time again?
Where is their intelligentia that will do serious historical unadulterated homework and wake up, that they cannot show the world that they were ever a race in the past, that they were only part of the general Arab population who migrated from Arabia in search of work.
There are relics of the Aborigines, there are relics of the Incas, the Indians, everybody except the Palestinians.
Why?
Did some mysterious force collect all their relics and artifacts and get rid of them? Would you ahve us believe that this is another Mossad conspiracy? Please?
There are no relics because there was no such thing as an Arab Palestinian nation.
When are they ever going to wake up that they are being used as pawns by their own? Looks like never.
Having said that, yes I would extend them a hand of friendship, and I would assist them, only but only if I was convinced that they sincerley wished to live in peace and harmony.
Homicide bombings will not convince me of this. Neither will their current leadership.
And they will certainly not get a "justice" from me if they do not behave in a civilized manner.
They will be kept in their "cages" albeit their towns and villages. The checkpoints will get worse. and perhaps one day, some day they may come to their senses and say.....We wish to become civilized. Please help us. Then we will, but not before"
