(2) The NBN continues to be rolled out. All current polling still support the initiative in numbers still suggesting a strong mandate.
(3) The carbon tax legislation has been rolled out. The punters can roll it back in in 2013 if they still dont like it.
Calm and rational analysis of the smaller issues:
(1) Border control - work in progress (1% of annual Commonwealth Budget, 0.06% of population, 99% of Media Attention).
(2) Australia Day Race Massacre - AFP dont care
(3) Mr Statutory Man Declaration - Public lost interest
(4) Craig Thomson - festering sore
(5) Fair Work Australia - probably needs to be looked at.
Conclusion - The Business of Real Government is happening as we speaking.
