With a strip ratio of 2/1, you need to shift 15 mt to get 5mt of ore. Clearly shifting that stuff has a cost and its about $50m more initial cost than is needed.

No business puts cash into overstocking a warehouse. Why put cash into overstocking a stockpile?

I thought that most here were recently telling us that the good stuff was very close to the surface. Why all the shifting of dirt if that is the case?

It also seems now that all the dirt is ore quality? Another myth.
