I figure you're being facetious again B_P and a bit of gallows humour is good for the spirit.

However, I don't think even Gerry would seriously think that an oblique reference to an 'accounting treatment' would suffice as an appropriate market release concerning the collapse of the much heralded, pathfinding project of the company's major strategic pursuit.

Further, my interpretation of the reference to the 'accounting treatment' in the announcement is that holders should standby for further, worse results.

I'm hoping, for the sake of those who wish to remain holders of this company, that the article the Dr referred us to was published post 4pm on Friday and that an announcement will be forthcoming before the market opening to-morrow.

The only upside of the Westinghouse merger that I can think of is that the company will have access to further capital markets. On the basis of the publicly available figures, I believe that the company will need to engage in significant capital raisings. Under the cricumstances I don't think that oz-based institutions that have already contributed will be willing to offer more money.

I don't see any benefit in holding this stock anymore.

This is of course my opinion only and I accept that I could well be wrong.

    Good luck all.
