It is good to see that robust debate is alive and well. Nothing like a good squabble to ruffle a few feathers and stir up the dust.

Personally I would agree with the philosophy that more announcements would be a good thing. At least people would be fully informed and aware of what is happening almost minute by minute.

Unfortunately that does not appear to be a strong characteristic of SG. He prefers to keep announcements to the minimum.

Maybe it is because he is so busy with many things to get organised, or reports to absorb and information to process that he regards announcements as a bit of a chore and needed only when important need be said.

Yes, in an ideal world GGP would be more forthcoming with information. But, from past experience, it is not the usual modus operandi.
Pity. But there we are.

No doubt when it is desirable we will get another update. Maybe this week!
