Anyway, prior to the recent deep costean these undefined oxide zones would have been likely defined as 'waste' surrounding the defined orebody.
From the announcement;

" Significant zones of oxide mineralisation have been identified in areas immediately adjacent to the Las Minerale orebody during excavation of the deep costean. The mineralised area is typical of zones that have been omitted from the resource estimate due to drilling “voids”, often immediately adjacent to the vertical orebody.."

So how extensive are these voids? Well 10-50m in width and from surface-35m depth, and occurs along the entire strike length of Las Minerale (say 800m). How much 'waste' is that to dig up. 25m (wide)x35m (deep) x 800m (long) x 2.8 SG = 1.9mt approx.
Of course the costean revealed these undefined oxide zones to contain high grade chalcocite and NCu throughout.
So Buddy happy to say this section of waste material is going to run at 3% CuEq. How extensive this mineralisation runs along Las Minerale is yet to be defined but of course as you know (well maybe not) these zones were all omitted from the jorc resource estimate. LOL
