Mr stout, i am no master of the stock market or market manipulation but RFE recently had a 5 million share xtrade, via top 100 went from 1 nominee account to another, could be a legitimate trade or going from the left hand to the right for god knows what purpose, i am a suspicious character, nominee accounts annoy me.

have spoken with many brokers about these trades in the past and if it is legitimate, the parties decide on a price and trade size behind the scenes, then market is bought up or sold down to the pre arranged price to facilitate the trade.

if its a real trade, the majority of the time the SP is sold down to accomodate the trade, then rapidly bought back up once the trade goes through, unless the buyer thinks there is potential for more xtrades.

certainly an easier way to move that many shares than slowly drip feeding into the market.

overall assessment, as a small trader, i really dont know.
only ones who would now are the 2 brokers involved and perhaps a middle man, either management or SEAs broker.
