re: on silver - by One question I keep asking myself:

If the reserve banks, the bullion banks and fund managers alike know the metal is running out at a rate of 100,000 troy ounces per year and has been for the last 12 years, with a reported 700,000 troy ounces left in stock piles and forward selling.

Why haven't they started covering there massive short posistions?

The only answer I can come up with is maybe that's what there doing right now, or they might be so deep in paper trades they can't cover them all.

But that's where I get stuck. These entities have far greater access to information and world stock piles than any of us and should be able to posistion themselves well ahead of time. So if there not "why"?

    A quandrey indeed!

    Any thuoghts.

    Cheers Ralph
