One important piece of info which would have the power to push the SP of HDR is an announcement on a JV partner for Guyane.
However I think we may have to wait a while for real news re Guyane. The Hardman July Update states that during the second half of 2005 further exploratory work will be carried out to convert leads and fairways into "prospects". This sounds to me like they are planning to use CSEM survey techniques to provide further info on these potential targets. The question is would Hardman want to do this CSEM before or after agreeing on a JV partner and terms? I would want to hang onto my 97.5% until I knew as much about the potential of the area as possible without drilling.
If this logic is correct, we won't hear any more of substance on Guyane until late in the year. What do you think?
