In 2002 McGarry was dumped as MD of Amalg Resouces/ Breakaway after non performance. Read closer at the remuneration reports over the years of 2000, 2001 and 2002 they did a fair job of charging the company and "associated" fees.
In 2000 McGarry and Greenhill took 150k and 132k in salary each and then paid themselves a further $650k in associated fees.
In 2001 it was similar and in 2002 Mcgarry received a salary of $276k plus associated fees of $280k.
Marcus Michael doesn't seem to be missing a trick either in his various roles.
The way that these group of directors have paid themselves over the years and the non performance make the current board look like saints.
