umm pete mate,cobber my opening post was a Joke as in dragging up the silliest TA grounds for predicting a Rocket to the Moon.
It looked like a cup'n'handle and as you say C'n'Hs have a really bad ramping rep nearly as bad as oversold MACD and even head and shoulders.

Anyhow after predicting the retrace,getting some abuse for it,being misunderstood about the Zari deal [that there could/might well be some shares for sale out of it by Minor shareholders and this getting me misunderstood and pilliored as a downramper.]
well thought I'd give 'em a TA upramp,tongue in cheek.

Anyhow I did do hand drawn charts from about 1968 when I was 15. They were basically price history charts.Only patterns were Support/Resistance. Trend Lines and Volume.
Simple Line Graphs for my father.No Indicators like MACD etc.Too MathsII all that stuff.Certainly no Fibionnacci whatever.Dad [we] used round figure percentage levels and all his investing was Loong Term.

Oh didn't he spew when God Gough got into Power. I nearly got disowned for voting for him Three Times!!

Anyhow unlike you haspete I haven't been into Multiple Trading like every week pick a dozen stocks on TA or a back tested system.Neither do I play the Indexes and apply TA to intra day data.
I am NOT TA Mechanical as are most all Pure TA Traders.

I think the term is I'm a Discretionary Trader as opposed to Mechanical and worst of all to the TA Purists I indulge in the dispicable practice of FA.

anyhow also enjoy writing and drawing out of step conclusions. I mess with minds and don't seek hearts.
