I had a lazy day today...the weather in Bris is rain, rain. and then wet!
I looked at a lot of sites and this is a general average. I think these are delivered price. Producers also need to write off Cap-ex and operational expenses, and shipping. Lots of variables like sulphur,place of origin, and other impurities and calorific value.
AUS thermal coal............US$120/t
Coking coal....................US$250/t
Anthracite coal...............US$300+/t
Big bucks!! A value of $2/t in the ground seems cheap.
