If you read the original post by formboy he clearly says the employer breached the rules and has to cop the fine but thinks it could have been just sorted out between them. Maybe formboy only gave us his interpretation of the story. Maybe he made it all up. He posts a lot of useless second hand info here so it's hard to tell.
