thanks for your post. A stake (such as $100k or $50k) split between 5 stocks in equal amounts is the way it was explained to me by Rob Cameron (founder of Cameron Securities). He said most successful traders divided their stake between 5-10 stocks with equal $ amounts allocated to each stock. When they sold they would start again with same starting $ amount on each new share bought.
