Yes - my dad had all his teeth pulled out in the 1950's. My mum had all hers pulled out in the 1930's. That confirms the venerable history of pull em' all out. I've got a mouth full of fillings and one tooth missing. Yes - pulled out in the 1950's.
I put my kids on fluoride tablets. Visits to the dentist were happy events.
