So AGL are gambling on a Coalition Govt coming into power in the next 18 months and Carbon Tax to disappear for a while. Also Carbon Price in Treasury models is $29 tonne, so at these estimates still making profit.
Just trying to work out what $6 a tonne of brown coal means when you have over $2bn of it in the ground.
That's even before thinking about a JV with Exergen and the benefits associated with that, and black coal and csg (I think) in Qld.
Boy am I grateful to Vertigo and Hardman for there honest research a while back, without them I would have missed this life changing event.
