finding a precedent for this exact scenario is difficult.
But Bayer are no strangers to buying their way out of controversy.As far as i can find, since 2003 they have spent over $1billion in settling disputes, and won only $100,000.
Tyrian must be looking for expenses, lost revenue, and i daresay compensation (deleting some 40 staff over the two or so years of the agreement would have been both costly and traumatic).
A ballpark figure can be worked out from the capital expenditure over the same period.
